I ordered the bushings for my shifting cable so hopefully i can shift easily between 2 & 4 wheel drive :-)

Too much weight up there. The one I built is kinda heavy, and two would be too much I think. I need to see your cargo rack to see how it would fit and spend the caps on a lighter weight rack. I can't weld aluminum, so I'll have to pony up for a pre-built one.

I can bring my Jeep by tomorrow if you like, so you can look at the rack and how I mounted it. It mounts perfect to the 1" square metal you have. Did you get the link to the rack that Goldielocker sent you?

Dang those pictures of the pre run look awesome. I would love to try to make it. How far is this from sac? I have to work Saturday but I'm off at 6 and have Sunday off. Not sure how far up the trail you might b by then

From Sac you are about 7 1/2 to 8 hours to where we're going to camp. If you don't know the area, camp would be hard to find. I would suggest that you hold off and make the next run. Sorry you can't join us or better yet . . . call in sick on Saturday
