Low gap farmers versus 20 or so jeeps. With gopros. What could be safer!

LOL! 20 jeeps, GoPro's and an equal amount of firepower I would guess!

In my defense as "List Ninja", this is your first post on this thread, but I do remember you said you were in on this one in another thread.

Apologies accepted!

I guess I should have pulled a "billybooster sign up" on you just to be sure.

Last year we got into camp Saturday evening a little later than I had hoped, so I want to try and shave some time this go around. Instead of taking lunch at Round Table Pizza in Fort Bragg, I was considering we just get sammiches from Harvest Market, fuel up in town and head up SR-1 to Blue's Beach and break on the beach for lunch.

Another option could be to stop at Pacific Star Winery on the way to break there for lunch. They have a really nice picnic area. Lot's of time to decide. I'll scout out Blue's Beach in the coming months, and maybe if I ask nicely, I can see if JDXX will check it out too.

Thanks. My biggest concern will be whether guys towing trailers behind their jeeps will be able to make it in and out of the beach entrance. I know of at least 2 jeepers that will be pulling small trailers. Can you time how long it takes to get from the Chevron in FB to Blue's Beach? Maybe we can hook up one weekend and check it out too. Lunch at Piaci's. I'll buy the brewskis!

Sounds good,

My Jeep probably wont be going for another week or so. But soon as it is I will time that for ya, I would guess pretty close to 20 minutes. I'm going to have to break my new gears in first though. Because I cant go out there without trying it out.

I am thinking about that snow mountain run too, I've never been out that way past lake Pilsbury. Used to hunt on Hull mountain with my Dad and Grandpa but have not been out there in 20 years.

Got the jeep bug a couple of years ago. Got the Jeep last year, wheeled it stock a little bit mostly dd it for work. Collected parts for a year, Blew up the D35. Maxed out all my credit, borrowed from my boss, buy parts weekly (much to my wife's dismay). Now its almost done (now she love's it).

!!!!!AND I NEED TO GO WHEELING!!!!!!!

I am going to have a learning curve I've never had anything like this, and I haven't really wheeled in years.

I think you've joined the right group! the "jeep bug" has us all, and life and budget affects us all. Based on your profile, you have a great start, and are way ahead of my build plans! You should try to make the Snow Mt. run. Great group and you'll enjoy the scenery!
