Not really. Lol I'm hoping to go up one more time before hand. But with gas at $5.

I know, gas is stupid right now and it's a long haul up there!

Think not, but near by. That way we can have a nice campfire again.

Oroville, Chico and Paradise are the closest cities for the noncampers. Look at lake Oroville for the camping group. I'll be making calls this week to see what we can get there.

That said.... I am in the process of changing jobs at my company, with continuous training over the next two weeks. I don't know what my hours will be at the time of this run. I may be working through Friday night and into Saturday morning. My work days are going to be pretty irregular for a while, at the very least through Christmas. So, I have to bow out.

Sucks for pre-planned wheeling with a group, but this is something I have waited years to do (as in the last ten, to be exact), and in the long run is a good move on my part. Plus the extra bucks will mean a RTT for the trailer that much sooner.

I'll miss seeing you all again. But, it's not the end of the world. Maybe a snow run after the new year?
Dang! Who's gonna do the flaming mohawk? You'll be missed my friend! Best of luck with the job training, and hope to see you on the next adventure!

If you donít want to camp, call the Bambi Inn, Outpost or the Mercantile in Butte Meadows. They all have places to stay. If youíre looking for a town, Paradise would be the closest. I donít think Magalia has a hotel. Iím not sure but Philbrook has a campground and fires may be allowed in the campground area.
Who knows, maybe weíll get some weather and the fire restrictions will be lifted.
