That can be a real problem there! I lived in willits for a couple years. They will even grow on private land as squatters without the landowners knowledge....take necessary precautions....

After the new year. To hard to plan anything this time of year, with X-mas and new years. So late part of Jan. most likely.

I don't know if I can wait that long for another run! May have to do a small run in between to tide me over, lol!

I can't wait either!! Might have to do that back road thing to Fort Bragg we're talking about soon after you and Cindy get back.
I will check out the area at the Winter Fun Fest. I'm already thinking about a road that goes from Marysville to Virgina City.

I just saw this "Winter Fun Fest" mentioned and checked it out on the website. Anyone from this group attending? Is this a deal where you stay in a hotel and meet for day runs? Looks cool, especially if there is snow. Do you have to be a member?

As far as I know, Craig is the only one going to Winter Fest.

Mike... Joan and I are going to the Winter Fun Fest. We are signed up for the Blizzard Brigade for Saturday. No you don't have to be a member. Here is a link to it. We are going on Friday and coming back on Monday.

So I'm thinking of a true snow run. Which would mean not to much hardcore driving. I have two places in mind. Both are about 3hrs from the Bay area and I was thinking of doing it the 26 of January. So what do you guys think? Let me know what you all think, that way I can see what we can get going.

Which direction from the Bay area? If it's not going south, I'm in!
