I've been there a handful of times. I can help you out a bit.

Staging areas:
we could meet at the ranger station, where you pay at and get the code for the lock, and then drive in as a group. or there is a huge staging area near the obstacle course.

Trails:
It's a lot of trial and error. Truck hill is always a fun one. A lot of time can be wasted at the obstacle course. Last time I was there they had: a mud pit, water hole, balance beam thing, steps, a line with logs and rocks, and a rock garden.

There's actually 2 new obstacle courses at Hollister (New as in put up in the last year), and they're both worth a gander.

The newest obstacle course opened about 2 months ago. There are something like five different sections to it. Search YouTube "Hollister Hills Upper Obstacle Course Opening" for a little glimpse of a few of them.

Yes, right next to the big obstacle course on Foothill Road. They even have bathrooms & sinks with running water. Some of the picnic tables are close enough to the one called the "stair steps. You can watch some of the others from there as well.

they are the 8" HID long range lights. super bright! I plan on doing two 4" square ones on my front bumper at some point, and possibly one one the back.

For you JK jeeples out there, one of my co-workers is going to sell his OME 2.5" lift off his 09 JK. It will include springs, shocks, both front/rear adjustable JKS track bars, and JKS front discos. He's asking $600 for the whole package. The lift has less than 20k on it and has only seen mild offroading. He's also selling his 33's. He's graduating to the 35 crowd.

Now back to our regular scheduled programming!

If anyone wants 5 black alloy (like new) ProComp wheels 15x10 with the 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern to go with those 33" tires, let me know.
