Ahh, I know where that is. We went thru that area last year with my wife's car club. Went thru Ebbetts Pass.

How doable would Slickrock be for a non-lifted JKU with good tires and sliders (no lockers, but LSD and of course the BLD)? I'm hoping to have a 2.5" lift once my tax return stuff hits my bank account but I'm not sure yet what I'm doing.

Could be hard for you to do, but have heard of ppl doing it with stock jeeps. Still working on all the details before I post anything up. It's a trail I have wanted to do since I got the jeep.

Thanks, I checked out that website and their ratings system, sounds like it would be doable since I'll have sliders for sure by then, I just might have to get winched off a rock or something lol. (I do have disco's too, just no lift yet) Anyway, hoping to have some kind of lift by then even if I have to "cheap out" and go with AEV's "non-upgradeable" 2.5. Hoping I can pull off the Metal Cloak 2.5 though but it's a good chunk of $$$.

Deer Valley is right up the road also. May could be a bit early. All depends on mother nature.

I was thinking end of May, but as you said it could still be a bit early.
