Well with 2 Broncos we will get to see if Broncos getting lost is an isolated problem, or a Bronco thing!

you do know Jim loosing a Bronco is pretty hard to do. It was the only one in the group. It's not like it looks like a normal Jeep. Which to non-jeepers they (Jeeps) all look the same anyway. hahaha

Sorry to say, but it looks like I'm going to have to back out of this run. I have a celestial navigation final on that Saturday, and the teacher won't let me switch to a different day. I know this date was some what picked around my schedule, so I'm sorry to drop out.
You guys be safe out there, and don't lose any JEEPS. I'll see you guys on my return for the August run. Have a good summer you guys.

I think so, what if a low tree snags it? Without the spring the fiberglass shaft would just break eventually or worse start bending sheet metal when snaged.

Depending on how many low hanging limbs you go under. It's not like you have a 6' antenna. For this coming up run you just have side brush. I see some with springs and some without. I think it just depends on the low over hanging limbs you might encounter.
