Well, I don't just believe it's just me. There are many other run threads on this forum that post pics and go off topic a little, but nobody tells them anything. So it does kinda make us feel that it's just us be targeted.

How many of those run threads are asked to stay on topic several times?

My PM's have been sent out and there is another moderator reviewing this so don't be alarmed if it goes off the public forum and sticks to private message.

I spend most of my forum time on the CJ forum and see things go off topic all the time and it always finds its way back on topic without moderator intervention. I have also seen some really good pissing matches. Most do not require a mod getting involved. I know Besrk is not the only mod on the CJ forum but he does his job as a mod superbly. The mods on the CJ forum don't generally get involved unless things get ugly. They sure don't get involved for a thread going off topic among whats easily seen as friends passing info or harmless joking amongst themselves. Believe it or not some of us do have members here that are personal friends in the real world.
I, myself find the California forum too repressive and controlling for my taste.
I don't plan on visiting this portion of Jeep Forum after our High Lakes run. I also do not plan to renew my membership next year either, because of this and the photo hosting changes.

That's good to know. I think to a certain point it doesn't matter to much, like you said, there's a mass exodus. Plus, there's been a lot of post deleted, so I hope the other moderator can read between the posts. We have 260,000 employees where I work and when a supervisor starts getting a large number of grievances, the company starts looking at that supervisor as the problem cause they can't get along with their employees. Sometime it's the way a persons posts, texts, emails come across as rude.

By who? the OP or a Moderator? I have never seen Gene13, Lowranger, Goldielocker, or BobtheTJ ever ask for one of their run threads to get back on topic!!! Seems to me it is none of the posters or OP's that have an issue. It is just one person (mod) here who has the problem.
