Those are some awesome pics! I love that first one. The snow wheeling these past few weekends has been great.

i did make the snow trip yesterday. they should have made it 35" min. we started a 9am and we slowly climbed in elevation and snow depth. rite a dark we figured we could go on and decided to turn around and go back thru the way we came. very long day of shoveling ,strapping, and winching. the mud pits were quite challenging.there were 9 rigs at first. then we picked up 3 more on the trail . on of the guys had a cj7 that did really well. i think he was running 37" tires and a locked up. ground clearance was definitely the order of the day

Man, this thread is really making me want to dump what's left of my tax return into a 3" BDS and 33s. Looks like the right group, I'm in the Auburn area.

I'm a member of that club and you couldn't find a better group of people to wheel with. We all help each other through thick and thin. (I know first hand from blowing up my rear end on the Rubicon last summer). Keep an eye on their forum for future runs. We don't have many runs that are restricted to "members" only and we welcome guests to all of the meetings and events.
On a side note, my Jeep is all fixed and I'm ready for a run.

Here's a few more pics from that run.

Uh oh its getting dark

I think everyone on the trip expected this to be a day run and off the trail by 3 or 4. Ended up it was 9:30 or so. Perfect example of being prepared for anything. Especially in the winter.

All in all it was an awesome run. The club is great and they really are good guys. Was a run to remember for sure. But I'm with you Bob I'll take a week or two off I think after that one. It was alot of shoveling, strapping up, winching and helping out. No one didn't need a strap or winch in our group.

The next day was spent washing off the rig at the car wash because it was crazy muddy. Lots of fun. I admit though I'm getting anxious for some rocks this summer.
