Finished sanding and priming my 9" housing yesterday, and started sanding the 3rd member today. Ruff Stuff small tube 9" swap stuff should be here by Friday, so Saturday I will hopefully start mocking up my spring perches and shock mounts. Was hoping to go SOA in the rear, but Imma stay SUA for now... definitely less strain on the bank account. Picking up some paint for the housing, frame, and bumpers tomorrow. Might head out to Pick N Pull and get me some brakes for this thing too... If not tomorrow probably the end of the week.

Also going to stab up my transmission and tcase tomorrow as well and get it bolted in. The Ext. slave cylinder line fitting that goes into the master cylinder is different, so I'm hoping a hydraulic shop here in town can simply swap the correct fitting on for me, so I don't get stuck spending $80 on the AA braided line...

Things aren't moving as fast as I'd like and I miss driving my Heep but at least it will be driving soon enough

Unfortunately, no Will probably be finishing it up that weekend or the day of the run. Can't even order gears till I get paid again next week, and even then I'll be lucky to find someone to do them that week. Shouldn't take long, I figure it's easy to set up a pull out 3rd member. Almost thinking about taking it on myself if I can get someone to watch over me.

Just did a quick read through of that and bookmarked it, thanks for finding that for me! The 9" doesn't look quite as difficult to set up as a Dana carrier, so hopefully I can get a friend of mine to come over and help me knock it out.
