Anyone else going to the "Skillz Day" that's happening tomorrow? Planning on being there around 8:30 myself to get checked in. https://www.metalcloak.com/Articles.asp?ID=264

Roughly about 2.75 in the rear and 3.25 in the front. The only added weight I have though is my Ace rails. Once I get bumpers, winch, and maybe a couple more underbody armor pieces it should settle to 2.5" according to how MC rates their lift heights. Front bumper + winch is next on my list actually.

edit: pics of before/after height are in this thread... http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f96/i...-pics-1494850/

edit2: still trying to figure out how this thread turned into one about my MC lift lol

It was pretty good. Can't complain for free. A lot more low key than I expected and not nearly as many people there as I thought might be. I don't think there were more than about 20-24 vehicles signed up.

Learned a few things about low & slow and really aired down properly and how it can help going over stuff. Did one of those climbs in the obstacle course that is pretty bumpy (no big rocks or pipes, I don't have the tire height & lockers for those) and after about 3 times and the 3rd time being aired way down (14psi) it all started working. Good info to take to slick rock for me I think.

Oh and took a test ride in the Metal Cloak Jeep with their 3.5" full gamechanger and 37's. LOL Matson at metal cloak is nuts. We were doing 30-50mph around the dirt track there with all the bumps and ruts and powerslides around tight corners. It was actually pretty smooth, I was shocked. It was like being in a racecar off-road except it was a lifted Unlimited JK and there was no indication that it was going to roll or anything. Now I really can't wait to get the rest of my CA's.

They also had a few booths talking about stuff like responsible land use, and what kinds of things to bring with you on a trip. Also thought the winching/recovery demo was good. Now I understand what the different things (tree strap, snatch block, etc) are actually for.
