Yeah it's the same amount of time for us too. There is a lot of history in that area of Jamestown, Angels Camp and Murphy's. I been wanting to go up there and do a day of wheeling and a day of sightseeing.

I did the trail twice last year (Sept & Dec). I think a good itinerary would be to drive down Saturday, have lunch, then run trail one way from Lake Alpine to Utica reservoir, camp, then Sunday run trail back up to Lake Alpine, then drive home.

There is a slick rock run going on memorial weekend... guy at 4wp says room for a few more rigs. I won't be able to go that weekend but thought I would let you kids know. Call 4wp in san jose and talk to justin
