quick update while I have service:
We are camped in Sycamore Site. We got one big one for tonight, and then the people next to us are leaving tomorrow, and we will grab there's in the am. Both are big and can fit a bunch of tents. See y'all soon!!

Why is work going so slow! Got a lot to do. Gotta pack, clean up the rig, and charge batteries on camera and radios. Gotta get up "Gene" time in the morning, ugh!

LOL no kidding I have a long evening. Have to drop the dog off at the pet sitter for tonight through Sunday (decided not to bring him until I see how he does up at Prairie City where I'm close to home). Then gotta drill and install my swaybar disco brackets, then we're going out for drinks with some of the gf's co-workers (won't be late, she has to be up at 5:15am for work). Somewhere in there I have to run to the store and pack the Jeep and charge stuff lol.

Ok attempting to set the cb and boy has this been a royal pain. Finally at 1.3. Is it ok if I get static with a good swr? Does that just mean no one is in range?

Static is perfectly normal sir is mainly matching the transmit section to the antenna so the power doesn't get reflected back into the transmitters face and blow the finals.

I'll try to bring you some extra pins for those JKS discos. I removed mine last weekend since my Metal Cloak lift came with new discos I'll only have a couple to spare though so don't know if that helps you.

Oh yeah and, finally ready to go here. Got my disco storage brackets FINALLY installed tonight 6 days after we put the lift on lol. Man that frame metal is tough stuff to put a drill bit through.
