Gene, you still plan to base camp at Lake Oroville? I'm hoping we can follow the trail clear thru to where it meets up to Concow rd and SR70 being that we will be banzi'ing back home.

I saw that. My coat hanger finally let loose from my tailpipe. Installed a new cat back.

So Gene do you have the details in place yet? camp ground? reserved? I really would like to do this like Slick rock and head up Friday. Count me in for 2 nights camping if it goes that way. I am ready to go.

There are some campgrounds around lake Oroville that are about $32. a night but with 2-3 ppl pre site that's not bad. (plus there's showers) It's about 20 mins away from the meet up spot. So how does that sound to you guys camping? I hope to camp both nights but still up in the air for me.

Trail Open
Trail is open all year. It is HIGHLY recommended that in the winter/spring time to try and stay off any dirt/mud (if possible) to prevent corrosion to keep this trail open!. Also, it is very important to stay on trail at all times and to not go outside any boundaries that are marked.

Difficulty
Moderate [4] to Difficult [9]

Description
The High Lakes area is a fun filled area for anyone with any type of OHV vehicle to explore. There is plenty of camping around the lakes and they are also filled with fish. During the summer time it has nice warm days and cool nights. During the winter it is usually cold all day and even colder at night. There are beautiful views and its just a great area for everyone to see.

We may spend Saturday night somewhere close and hang out with you campers. I'll share my hobo dinner! Rich, bring more hawaiian beer. I have a spare wine glass with your name on it.

That would work. That's why I'm thinking lake Oroville for base camp.

I need to know how many ppl will be camping so I know how many sites we need. I think the 2-3 ppl per site worked out great last time.

Is your list up to date? John mentioned he may be in Vegas that week, but I think he was struggling with which venue he wanted to attend, lol! What say you John?
