F4-134 Hurricane shop / tech assistance

Hello all,

I have been combing these boards for the past few years in response to questions that my father has had in rebuilding his late 50's CJ-5 from the ground up. Unfortunately we have hit a stopping point with the original F4-134 Hurricane engine after taking it to a shop to be rebuilt. Ever since then, we have had timing and oil leak issues which we have not been able to correctly track down. We have taken it to another local engine builder who specializes in classics, but he was of not much help.

I am not sure if this is the best place, but we are looking for recommendations for a professional shop in the SF Bay Area which has first hand experience working with this engine to track down the remaining issues so that we can finally complete this rebuild. The Jeep is located in Sunnyvale, CA, but we can take the whole car / engine to a mechanic in the area.

We have Googled, Yelped, and asked everybody we knew but have not had any luck finding a mechanic with experience working on the engine.

We would be eternally grateful if somebody can please pass along a name or number for a shop either in direct response or PM to avoid any possible advertising rules.

Thank you.
