If the link doesn't work properly, look for the service manual link under Jeep Resources at the bottom of the page.

Yeah the and was supposed to be an (an).
SOA is a spring over axle conversion.
actually any UK suppliers of Jeep accessories would be useful.

You can get spare parts from lighthouse jeep parts in Diss, not the best of phone manners but they know their stuff. That said they are getting more expensive from what I hear so a lot are getting parts shipped directly from the US. Not on the net so phone on 01953 681 237. You can also try http://www.jeepey.co.uk and http://www.usautomotive.co.uk/

For Accessories ebay might be as good as elsewhere. Not the most common of vehicles over here so not so easy to find things for.

You may want to have a wander to the forum at http://www.birtydastards.com. It's a UK Jeep site and there will be people more knowledgeable about what's available than myself.

Talk to Steve Fagioli at FTE.co.uk. He is the UK supplier for Rubicon Express who make a SOA spring specifically for us YJ owners. He'll help you work out your upcoming SOA/Steering issues too.

How long is your rotation?

Your brothers used to run a local club (http://www.createphpbb.com/mildenhalloffro/) but it dried up as they all gradually rotated out.

Us locals, especially the ones closest to your area, have recently come together at www.jeep-club.co.uk. You're more than welcome to hook up.

We have a run coming up April 15th (https://www.facebook.com/events/246967945395204/). Its about 60 miles south of you, so use your gas vouchers and bring a couple cans. Gas off-base is stupid expensive.

I'm here for another 2 years. I haven't done any off-roading over here yet, but I'm hoping to meet some people this summer that are a little mor mechanically knowledgable than I am. I'd love to come down on the 15th but I will be back in the states, so maybe next time. Cheers.

So question, is it legal to drive without the doors on in the UK? I know some places atleast require mirrors, but I figure its better to ask permission than to beg forvigeness.

Yeah, it's cool. But relocate your mirrors. I'm waiting on windshield brackets (my RH mirror mount was broken off the door anyway).
