Did you ship your Jeep there? Based there full time or just visiting? More info

I see the red YJ was shipped over as that has american spec tail lights, and one of the dark TJs, but the rest appear to be local Jeeps with amber turn signals....

Looks like fun!

No these were all imports but Mr Kim the man that owns the Red YJ that I was drivng put american spec tail lights on it because he didnt like the import lights. No I did not bring my Jeep to Korea. Not allowed because of cars to parking ratio here at this base. I will be back in Colorado in about 3 weeks for good. PCS is coming real soon. Cant wait to go home and install the stuff I bought for my Jeep in the last year. I have been in Korea for almost a year for a short tour. I now will be stationed in Colorado.

Dude that's awesome! I had no idea that people went off-roading over here. I'm stationed in Seoul. Just bought my Grand Cherokee here...ok it won't do the rocks like the Wranglers in the pics, but I'd still love to find out where you go, who with, local groups, etc. I gotta get skidplates installed though before I do anything more than a dirt trail...skids & towhooks & a bunch of other stuff are on the way! And I need to gt better tires too...the stock tires are good on the street but wouldn't do anything for me off road.

On a side note, I went down to Jeonju yesterday (southwest of Daejon)...I think mine was the first WK to see the streets down there...got lots of looks. One guy in a Rexton was about to get out and look it over, but the light turned green.

Feel free to e-mail me at dangruber@yahoo.com if you've got any ideas on where to go, local clubs with people that speak english, etc. Thanks!

Great pics by the way!

I have done the trails here and they are anywhere from novice to "break stuff". Contact this guy to ask where to wheel he is very nice and loves America. He has been a best friend since I have been here. He owns a shop that has everything you could ever want to install on a Jeep. From MTR's to Lockers to the screws that hold your dash together. His name is MR KIM. He has told me about Majors and Officers that wheeled with him in the past. They had Cherokee's!

woojoos@unitel.co.kr

Speaks great english but doesnt type it well. LATER

GOD BLESS THE TROOPS!
