Baja: 1942 Pole Line Rd. (Mexicali area) - Nov. 19-21, 2011

I'm leading a 3 day run near the Laguna Salada region of Baja, Mexico. The Baja 1000 will actually swing through a portion of our route 1 day before we leave, so there may be some expensive litter to pick through.

The route is a tough one - 31" tires and 2 extra 5 gal. containers of gasoline and a CB radio are required. The trail is AWESOME! Here are a few pics...

This road was constructed in 1942, but never used again since. Here is one of the last remaining communications poles that lines the route:

Everyone on the run had 33" tires, and we all did great on the trail. Best part of all, my Wife had fun!
