4x4ing in Europe (Belgium)

Just moved out to Belgium and was wondering if anyone knows of any spots to Jeep around southern Belgium or anywhere in the area?

The domain, created in 1974, is on amparéa of 40 hect. Located at 2 km from the exit n°37 bis, Elsaute/Les Plenesses of the motorway E40 Liège/Aachen. This acces is easy.

This beautiful park is a high place of meeting and mécanics sports. The fans of :TRIAL, ENDURO, MOTOCROSS, SUPERMOTO, QUAD and 4X4 can meet together all year long.
The club organizes differents proffs like the” Challenge Trial Trophy”,”Vieilles tiges Trial”,reserved to the old trial motorcycles as well as the 4 hours of endurance,”The national cross country” and the most important test of the year the” Belgium Masters Supermoto.
The site is open every weekdays except on monday.
You can find a bar restaurant, with opened place,a reception and meeting room, and toilets.
And for everybody who prefers to stay more than one day, there are some rooms and little houses to rent .

We go there mostly once a year, for a weekend, with a couple of friends. Basic facility's are present: toilets, shower, and a restaurant.
Camp for tents, caravans and rv's. Rocky ground!
If you are lucky, there's someone who speaks Dutch or German. Otherwise only French.

Be aware, most of the time the're also motorcycle's on the terrain!!

Maybe you want to visit the European Jeepers Jamboree on the first weekend of June. It's just acros the Belgium border. See also the topic in this board.

Thank you. That was very helpful. I'm glad its open during the weekdays, since my days off are on Tuesday and Wednesday. I saw the thread on the European Jeepers Jamboree. If I'm off work that week I will be going for sure!

You have a very nice CJ! Are those pictures from RDMC? Once I get my lift on my Jeep I will be going there. Hopefully very soon.

We often go Sclayn (Chateau de Cherimont. B 5300 ANDENNE , near Namur) or Bertrix. Both are in southern Belgium.

Fürsten Forest in Germany may not be too far from where you are in Belgium...

They both cost around 30€ per day. In Bilstain are some hills and rocks..... ok more gravel.
Mainly MX people are in Bilstain, but they don´t have any problems with 4x4.
FurstenForrest has a more sandy ground and more 4x4 people.

If you want to visit a place you can send me a PN. Maybe I´ll join in..... if my Z is ok on this day.......
