What to eat

I need to lose 25lbs. I want to hear some ideas what I should eat to get rid of my stomach fat. I try to go to the gym 3x a week but its hard with my work schedule. My list of foods that I eat are broken down so far in this category.

BREAKFAST 7:00AM

-Coffee w/ half and half (no sweetners or creams)
-A bowl of cereal using 1% milk. (usually Rice crispies, Cheerios, Wheaties)

SNACK 10:30

Apple/Banana/or 100 calorie pack and Coffee w/ half and half/ Bottled Water

LUNCH 1:00

Turkey Breast on whole wheat bread with mustard
Bottled Water
Need some more ideas what to eat

DINNER 5:30

Have no clue what to eat. Sometimes eat Turkey Burgers no bread.

Dessert 7:00

Cherries/Watermelon/ or Italian Ice no sugar added

Kill the grains. Up the protein. Eggs, veggies, and/or fruit for breakfast. Maybe some bacon on workout days.

Protein shakes (just the powder and water). Something like Combat or Phase 8.

No sandwich (bread). Meat over a salad or steamed veggies.

For dinner choose a meat baked, grilled, or in skillet (no breading) and two vegetable sides.

What killed my belly fat and extra weight was ditching grains. I look like I'm 8 months pregnant for 2 hours after I even eat a slice of bread, so maybe I'm a bit sensitive. It's not a bad idea to clean it up and fuel yourself with protein and produce. Not grains that give you a short blood sugar boost and crash.

Zucchini noodles instead of pasta with meatballs is an easy dinner. Peppers stuffed with ground turkey. Lots of stuff our there. Greek yogurt is good if you can do a little dairy. If you want sweets a frozen fruit bar or smoothie is always nice in the summer.

looks like your lacking some serious protein! Stay away from all processed foods and get more lean meat in your life. Check out bodybuilding.com for a ton of great recipes and they have more than just that. Also add more cardio 35+ minutes a day at least 3-4 times a week and add some weight lifting in there 2-3x a week, that will get your metabolism racing pretty good.

And remember you don't need a gym to get a good workout and with weight lifting you may not lose the pounds on the scale but you will shed the fat.

I'd stick to Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard, MuscleTech Phase8, and MP Combat. All high protein, low carb, and low sugar. Gold standard, I believe, is the lowest price per serving. I'd also hit the gym more, if possible, or up the intensity of your training sessions.

It's also not really possible to target fat in a specific area.

I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. I think...

Today I made a cup of Plain Greek Yogurt with a tablespoon of All Natural Peanut Butter its actually not bad. You can also add some protein powder in their as well.

Breakfast:
Black coffee
Oatmeal

Snack:
Fruit
Green Tea

Lunch:
Turkey/chicken/tuna (yes, by itself check out Carving board by Oscar Mayer)
No bread
Raspberries
Protein shake w/wheat grass blend

Dinner:
Fish/chicken/turkey
Brown rice
Vegetable
Wheat bread
Potatoes

Dessert doesn't exist the 6 out of 7 days you diet.

As for protein because I don't really "bulk" I stay low cal/carb high protein.

My favorite is promasil. Has 90 cal per scoop and 30g protein 1g carbs. Works great for me.

Brew your own green tea and don't add sugar. Make sun tea if you want.

Maybe add locally harvested honey.

I get a gallon of hot water and add 6 lipton tea bags. Dunk them a few times and stick it in the fridge. Tastes just fine.

Trends, get rid of your junk food, cereal and simple carbs, bread, sugar, pasta. skip fruits for awhile. the secret to success is cooking your own food, and always having something in the fridge to eat or snack on so you don't grab the quick junk food. concentrate on low fat cuts of meat and quality veggies. use olive and other oils sparingly. if it is near you, find an ideal protein sight. wifey just lost 38 pounds with their program.
