I am quite sure that you would just barge into your bosses’ office while he/she is in a meeting with potential clients... Or, would you wait until the clients are done with your boss and then go in and talk to your boss? Same theory... There is NO question that is worth interrupting my workout that could not wait until I am finished. As for "meatheads"... Well, if you leave the "meatheads" alone, the "meatheads" leave you alone..... < That is a great, no wait, novel idea.
I did ask questions during my first couple of years training. I also self educated myself over the time that I have been working out. But I certainly never interrupted someone’s workout to ask the question. You also validate my comment of "we are the ones who are talked about", and we try as best as possible to keep to ourselves.... Sort of like a bear in a cage... As long as you leave the bear alone and don't enter his cage everyone is fine. But the minute you enter the bears cage (in this case my workout space to ask questions) well you may not like what you hear. Do I want the sport to thrive? Sure I do. But unless you can understand what it means to be "in the zone" then it is very difficult to help others understand why..... It definitely is not personal. If someone is trying that is all that counts. I certainly do not look down at anyone.... I have walked a very difficult road in my lifetime. When an athlete is "in the zone" he/she does not want to be bothered. It takes away from the focus, drive determination and efforts they are putting forth.

We sound like we are talking about two different things. I am talking about asking a guy in the gym a question and you are talking about asking the question in the middle of a set. Obviously, I agree with you there. I understand "the zone", and when I was in the zone I never even heard the question.

Working out, is working out to me. Once I enter the "zone" I am there until I conclude my workout. Regardless if I am between sets or not.

So, I didn't do **** over spring break

But I did eat a lot so that means that so far this week I've felt stronger. Just not as much energy.

I'm still just doing body building, trying to cut and look more "pumped" for summer. I do, however, still have my power days which are strictly focused on my deadlift. I think I have finally found where my weak point is - my quads. Monday I decided to try some deadlifts from a deficit (standing on one of the rubber plates). I did this after my normal deadlifts, where I only got 225, and was only able to pull 205 twice from the deficit. This may not sound like its that bad, but just yesterday I hit back and pulled 275 for 2 on rack pulls. My rack pulls are a little bit higher, so I actually use my glutes quite a bit. So, I will be working on deadlifts from a deficit for awhile in hopes that my lift will skyrocket. After those two exercises I just did some underhand pulldowns (170 for 8), and leg curls (4 plates for 12).

That's pretty much it guys. Nothing impressive.

Oh, I bought some LivingFuel. **** makes me throw up. If anyone has this and knows a good recipe, let me know.

Hit a couple PR's yesterday, if you wanna call em that.

315 for 8 on shrugs and 70lb dumbbell on rows.

I know, not too impressive, but that's the first time I've help 300+ in my hands. Didn't feel too bad honesty. Once my legs gets stronger, ill be deadlifting 300 easily.

Every day!

Just finished back and shoulders. Decided to try something new. Took some inspiration from CT Fletcher and Mike Rashid. At the end of my back workout I did 200 reps of lat pull downs divided into 10 sets of 20. Then that's ALL I did for shoulders. 10 sets of 20 on dumbbell press. I'm dead.

What do you mean by more uneven? If it hurts your shoulder then you need to work your shoulders to increase strength and mobility in them.
