Train Harder, You'll Pass Out Before You Die...EugeneTheTJ's Workout Thread
I started cycling when I was 14. Senior year of HS I started really working out (weightlifting).
Freshman year of college I realized I was a fat *** and decided to do something about it. 6'3" 280 pounds. Cut out sweet tea, ice cream, etc. and started eating better. Also got really into working out. Did a lot of upper body weight training, some cardio, and I would mix in CrossFit and Tabata workouts here and there. By the end of freshman year I was down to 230.
Since then I have basically been on a power bodybuilding style regimen. Added a lot of muscle mass and ended up back at 280 lb, now 6'4" (much more muscular and leaner).
February 10 of this year I started cutting. Eating super clean (except I cheated bad on my spring break) and I am down to 265. Ideally I want to be at 5-10% body fat and have phenomenal muscle definition. I'm thinking final weight will be anywhere from 235-240.
Big 3 stats:
Bench: 1 x 315 lb
Deadlift: 1 x 515 lb
Squat: Never maxed out (bad knees from baseball) but I can rep 315 no problem.
Leg Press: 2 x 1,200 lb
Standing Dumbbell Curl (each arm): 1 x 90 lb
Seated Dumbbell French Press: 8 x 110 lb
Barbell Shoulder Press (seated): 6 x 185
Mon - Chest
Tues - Back
Wed - Legs
Thurs - shoulders or arms
Fri - shoulders or arms (the one I didn't do on Thursday)
I try to do cardio everyday but at a minimum I do 30 minutes every Monday through Friday. My schedules wacky because I'm in grad school but I graduate soon and will be able to be more consistent in terms of weekend workouts.
On an abbreviated schedule this week because I just got back from my spring break yesterday. Plus I am feeling under the weather which isnt helping.
I had a pretty crappy chest session yesterday.
Back today...we will see how it goes. I'm thinking I'll go for reps and pump rather than max. Might try to see how many times I can deadlift 405 in a row. Or I might just say **** it and go heavy like normal...
