Not that it is a primary exercise by any means but I hit 20 reps of 615 pounds on calf raises yesterday.

The machine only holds 6 plates on either side so I had to throw a 75 pound curl bar on top.

New strongest normal squat training workout PR. 340 5x5, 390 1x1, 435 1x1.

Also new front squat PR. 325 1x1. I'm sure I could go way heavier on front squat if I hadn't just done that back squat workout. :-)

Thanks. Only one thing gets you stronger at squatting... And that's squatting. :-)

New deadlift PR tonight. 435 5x3, then 470 for 1x2. My best 5x3 workout so far.

Said this in my other thread, but I got 500x2 on leg press about a week ago. By far my heaviest "lift."

I don't even own a jeep anymore

Competed in my first power lifting meet two weeks ago.
weighed in at 147.3
Squat - 347
Bench - 231
Deadlift - 424
total - 1002
20lb prs on squat and deadlift. Squat was a state record for my age and weight class and the deadlift was 1lb short of the state record. I went 3 for 3 on squat and deadlift. I missed my 2nd bench attempt so I redid for my 3rd. Overall very happy to be in the 1000 lb club and can't wait for my next meet!

That is absolutely fantastic! Great job!

I'm training to compete in a power lifting meet right now too. I'm currently cutting and altering my diet to cut down to the 180's so the weight cut won't be drastic. I'll be competing at 181.

Did you compete geared, raw classic, or raw modern?

Strongest squat workout and strongest single squat PR.

Tonight I swatted:

340 5x5
390 1x1
465 1x1
470 1x1.

Pretty sure I've got 500 pounds on back squat if I hit it fresh, and not after a 5x5 workout. :-)
