Yep. Definitely.

Glad you figured it all out. Keep up the lifting brah.

I've squatted a2g for years before I had any knee pain. I attributed it to not running any doing cardio exercise on the daily like when I was playing football.

Curious...

Adopt your pets. Don't shop for them.

I run, and do other cardio and my knee still sounds like trash. Literally, like trash. It makes this crumpling sound like your crumpling up something and throwing it away. Feels kind of gross too. Doesn't hurt, though.

I stopped going so deep on my squats and just break parallel a bit now. I don't really know if the doctor would do or say anything because it doesn't hurt? Just sounds gross. It pops a lot too. Sometimes I wonder about offering it more support.

What do you all think about glucosamine?

I've not taken it.

As a bit of an update: My knee hasn't given me any pain since I've started squatting higher, but I have noticed they work much better when I wear sweatpants vs. shorts, probably because of the warmth. So I do still plan on getting a pair of sleeves soon so I don't have to sweat my balls off wearing sweatpants.

I will also say that front squats feel 100x better on my knees than a low bar back squat. I can drop all the way down, pause, then explode up with no pain on front squats.

I don't even own a jeep anymore

It's in the back of my mind. Should be a fun process with these doctors on base. I just don't know, it sounds terrible and people are often disturbed by it, but it causes no pain so I don't know if they'll think it's that important. Welp, it's free, so I might as well give the clinic a ring at some point.
