Yeah, the videos are kinda over the top (you wouldn't want to be seen doing it), but it works pretty well.

Insanity Workout

I did the Fit Test yesterday, and today I completed the plyometric workout. I see now why it is called Insanity! I don't know if I will be able to keep up with it, but I am going to try. I need to get ready for bikini season!

My wife has been doing it for around a week so far. It is pretty intense and she is sweating like crazy and sore after it's over. Good luck!

so...its been about 5 weeks now since starting Insanity, I've lost about 15 lbs. I just got done with the "recovery" week, which is about 35 mins of cardio and stretches...I dont feel very recovered. Now I'm actually worried, good ol' Shaun T said this next month is the "hardest workout ever put on a DVD"!

I have one week left in the 60 days. The first month wasn't nearly as tough as I had anticipated (still very challenging-- I just assumed it would be more horrible), but the second month is tougher than I expected. I've done P90X twice, and now am missing the strength portion of that workout, but LOVE the Insanity workouts. After I finish next week, I'm taking 3 weeks off, then starting a hybrid P90X / Insanity workout. M-W-F strength workouts from P90X and T-TH-S the MAX workouts from Insanity. I think it'll be good.

Bump. Just finished day 1 with the fit test. I did horrible as I expected, and I feel like total ****, but oh well.

This is a huge change for me. I havent been active since senior year in HS. I put on some weight in college last year. Im at about 207 lbs, but im naturally bigger (ie. not a stick). Shooting for 180 by the end of the summer, in otherwords late/mid august.
