Well im sure im a gym clown........ I hate the punks that show up at summer time. Highschool kids and college kids coming home for the summer I guess??? I always wear headphones just so people will leave me alone. The other day I have them in with my music full blast and I start hearing someone screaming bad words so loud I thought something was wrong. I pulled out my earphones and it was this 20 something kid singing along with his headphones to some really bad language rap song as loud as he possibly could. I wanted to start a fight I was so irritated. This is a gym on a military base and free use if you have a military ID card family members, dependants and everyone. You can also sign up to 2 people in at a time. I think thats how some of these future convicts are getting in+

I have to respectfully disagree. The crossfitters around me are really fit and exercise great form.
I've worked out at the local box here a few times. I'm not a cult member though. Haha. I work out at Gold's Gym.

And I challenge any hater out there to bust out 106 consecutive kipping pull ups in 1 minute 36 seconds. That guy is a beast. :-)

Yes he kipped them. Yes a kipping pull up is different from a standard/dead weight/strict pull up.

Not all cross fit work outs require kipping pull-ups. Some require standard/dead weight/strict pull ups.

Anyone who hates on crossfit most likely hasn't worked out at a decent box.

I hate crossfit. Love olympic lifting and some of the things crossfit does (as in particular workouts).

Well I saw him clear his chin like 2 or 3 times????? I was in the marines and we used to be aloud to "kip" and very few of those would have counted. Now in the marines you have to do a dead hang

Yeah the view was from behind and underneath and to the side. Kinda hard to tell in the video how high up his chin was going.

Hate on bad technique, not on crossfit as a whole.

No clue what all there is to hate about it. It's power lifting, Olympic lifting, cardio, intervals, free weights, and gymnastics all together.

Look over today and lo and behold there is a guy on the stairmaster wearing a weighted vest...with 2 10 pound plates strapped to the top.

I was embarrassed for him. He looked a crippled angel with some weight wings
