Feels like I'm getting stabbed in the chest

Alright so long story short, I was doing side shoulder raises with dumbbells and I think I might have pulled something in my chest specifically in my heart region. It was bothering me a little bit yesterday while at the gym so I stopped after I finished shoulders and skipped back. So today I woke up and it hurts like hell. I attempted back today and had to leave after 2 exercises due to the pain and now it hurts to move. WTF did I pull?

Try a couple things for me.

1) Lay on your chest, arms by your side.
2) While standing, hold your arms out and act like you're doing a chest fly. Bring them out as far as you can.

Tell me which one hurts. This may tell us if it muscle, or something else.

Neither hurt but when I lift my head while I'm laying down hurts. And it's moved to my back now and the pain has diminished quite a bit.

Give it about a week. It could be nervous.

Fill the bathtub with water as hot as you can stand it and add one or two cups of Epsom salt and stir. Submerse yourself in it for two to three hours.

Magnesium Sulfate, which is what Epsom Salt is, can be absorbed into the skin and reduce inflammation, when added to water. which is why it is used a lot to soak feet say after runs, or with like people who have sore feet.
