Love the deadlift myself. I nvr exclude them from my leg workouts. I manage to deadlift 315 7x today which is the most I ever repped it. Did 365 1x though.

So true. As long as you work hard and stay at it, it'll happen.

Yep just keep at man it will come. I've been lifting for about 7yrs and now just got to benching 315lb and that's a max. I started out a little skinny kid that couldn't even bench the bar lol. Now Granted I'm a short bastard only being 5"4 but weigh a good 180lb. I have heart problems as well so I had to have surgeries every once a while the last one being summer of 2012 so stuff like that allowed me to rest good but hinder gym performance when fully recovered.

That sucks man. I had a concussion my junior rear I high school and I have a permanently pinched artery, so every time my blood gets pumping I get lighted and practically pass out. It sucks because I have to push it, but not push it.

Been lifting since '78. Started when I was in the Marines and got hooked. Now I mostly do lighter stuff as my knees are somewhat old and tired. But I do get after it 5 or 6 days a week. Currently I'm about 190 at 5'10" so it's going ok. Best bench I ever had was 225x15 and 315x3. Squats was 355 x 6 and I always sucked at deads only getting up or 315x8 on that. Seems my long limbs and short torso are good for some lifts and not so good for others. I started weighing a sting 140 lbs, though. So I have made and kept some nice gains over the years. Now. At 55+. I on a lighter quicker pace. Which seems to help the joints and keeps my bf down a little easier so the diet is not as crazy.

Looking forward to the sub forum.

I hear ya man. I personally nvr had a concussion, but a lot of my good friends did from sports and its no joke. In reality I'm really not suppose to do heavy weightlifting according to my Dr. He didn't find out out until I got to deep into the weight training thing and said he really does not recommend me lifting heavy esp on bench, but said if I feel good about it and be careful he doesn't see a problem. That being said though I used to suicide grip bench and one day while slowly lowering 225lbs I rolled my wrist causing the weight to crash onto my chest. I thought I died at that moment. I have an artificial heart valve so lucky for me nothing happened. I cheated death that day.

Oh man that's crazy. Glad you're okay. I always get nervous doing bench. I've seen to many videos on it going wrong lol.

I used to bench by myself with no spotter. I never got nervous about it because I didn't go too heavy, knew my limits, and there were other people in the gym that would help me if things went wrong.

Back from the gym bump. How long, or how many votes until this can move forward? I'm really digging the idea.
