Here's my split:

Legs
Chest and tris
Back and bis
Shoulders
Rest

Do you think deadlifting on leg and back day is too close together? I know at least 24 hours of rest is ideal, but should I wait longer for such an intense exercise?

I do my deadlifting as my first exercise on my back and shoulders day. The day before that I do legs. There is a little bit of soreness in my legs but its totally doable. :-)

No. I workout my back on Tuesdays and leg days are on Friday which is today. I use DL for lower back/hamstrings.

You don't have to do a normal split lol. To mix it up I've done front/back splits. 1 day is all front, chest, bi's, quads shoulders. Next day back, all back, rear delts, tri's and hammies. Day off, then repeat.

Recovery time is 24-48 hours so you're fine, just get a good stretch. Do RDL's on leg day and regular deads on back day. But I give you many kudos for putting legs first. Awesome

This. Just cause you are "deadlifting" doesn't mean you are working out the same ****.

RDL's for leg day and regular for back day.

Yea my b.

I slacked from my mod duties and went back through all the threads to make sure there was nothing bad/spam. I felt like I needed to considering I am the one who got this subforum started
