I had another session last night with the trainer. I was sore going in from Monday but after a 15 min bike ride before starting I got the blood pumping and felt pretty good during the workout.

I have not paid attention to the weight that he is adjusting everything to, mostly because I think it would depress me to know, but he has gone up. All the same exercises as last time, still working on form (I think I got it down, sarcasm) but did say that next monday will be a new routine.

I started asking about supplements, and he told me to just load up right now on 100% whey protein. told me a couple of good ones and where to get them locally, just to make sure that it is 100% whey and not the flavorful stuff. I asked about fat cutter that won't make my heart explode and he said to just stick exercise right now. He will get more into supplements once my body adjusts to the eating every three hours.

Been eating a lot better and more times throughout the day. I miss bacon grease but i am feeling much better.

A nice 20 min walk this morning felt good. Didnt bother my knee at all.

The only instruction I had for that day was writing down everything I ate. He told me to eat normal (normal for me) just write it down. Well, writing down what you eat almost guilts you into eating better. Before I would just eat, now I have documented proof that I am a fat arse. (sorry for the language, but I know no other word that really fits my situation.)

I bought some optimal 100% whey protein and some cliff builder bars for some on my meals. It is not exactly as tasty as a pound of bacon, but it aint bad. I miss bacon. Been eating six meals a day and probably eating less calories than when I was eating two meals. Been walking on the treadmill a couple days a week for twenty minutes and then with the trainer two nights a week.

I did lose about three pounds, really hard to tell because it fluctuated that much anyways, but a pair of pants I wear were a bit looser this weekend. Might just be subconscious, but whatever works.

Remember, muscle weighs more than fat. You can still weigh around the same and have much more muscle and much less fat. Is optimal the brand of protein? I haven't heard of that. Unless you mean Optimum by chance?

Last night we moved away from machines and to the dumbells. Did use the two machines / cable pulls for row and triceps.

My knee was hurting something fierce last night so It was all upper body. Might just be this weather.....cold and wet....that had my knee fussing. But I just rode the bike a little longer. Feeling pretty good this morning. Went passed the usual hole on the belt this morning. I have a feeling that tomorrow I will be a lil stiff.

Overall feeling good about what I am doing.

Haha muscle doesn't weigh more than fat but it is a lot more dense and takes up less space
