So I started eating about 75% Paleo last Sunday. Paleo snacks, two main meals, and a lighter third meal where I dont stick to Paleo, but try to still eat fairly decent. The first week I skipped the gym...end up with a little bout of the Carb Flu as my body transitioned from my intake being largely carb saturated to limited carbs. Im not counting anything...just eating better. I feel full on a lot less food, and am far less tired. Hit the gym today and for whatever reason I just felt like continuing after what I had planned for the day. Just kept going until my abs were toast. Felt good.

My starting weight at the beginning of trying Paleo was 172. Not focusing on measurements or body fat yet. Going to give it 30 days and then adjust and get mroe serious if need be.

I do the p90x and p90x2 workouts. I get to bored with conventional workouts and these mix it up enough to keep me going. Also don't hesitate to throw in some yoga. I know it is girly or whatever but I can guarantee you will be sweating buckets by the end and with the increase in flexibility you lessen the chance of injury.

I keep my diet pretty basic. As much fruit, veggies and lean proteins as i want, limit the carbs, salt and junk. I am not a diet nazi by any means as i have a soft spot for mexican food and usually eat that at least once a week. Seems to do me pretty well and i also try and ride my bike a few times a week for additional cardio.

Try spinach in your smoothies. I add two big handfuls to mine and all it does is change the color but not he taste. My smoothie is a cup or so of greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, banana a splash of skim milk and the spinach and sometimes protein powder. I am not much of a breakfast person but this way i can get a good amount of protein to start my day.

Well guys, I made the mistake of letting a new job drag me out of the gym. So its been a while since I've been on a decent routine. i'm going to use either P90x or Insanity to get me back in the groove before I start lifting again. I "obtained" both sets of videos. Which one would you guys suggest?

Also, I want a pre-workout and a recovery drink/supplement. What do you guys suggest?

C4 is always good. I also really liked Platinum Pre- by ON. This NO Xplode I have is ok.

By recovery drink, what do you mean? Protein shake?

I don't even own a jeep anymore

I'm not real big on supplements, so whatever has what I'd need. If that's protein to rebuild muscle, then yes. Haha. Looking to slim down a little and do some toning.

I've always liked optimum nutrition gold standard. Only about 100 calories I think. With 28g of protein.

Is the ON pre worth the cash? Seems pricey.

Do you use the creatine free C4?

Have you tried white flood?

I have read a lot of suggestions to use White Flood as a pre workout, and their purple wraath as a during workout drink. Prices arent too bad on either. Id like to use something thats known to be good, but at the same time I kind of want to try aomething fewer people here have used so I can give a good review on it. However, I dont really have anything to compare it too yet.
