ZJ tube bumper

don't see a Ton of custom ZJ stuff on here as it is, but have only seen a handful of tube bumpers for them. seems everyone wants to build a plate bumper.

anyhow, i started on my tube bumper from my ZJ over the weekend. will take a long time to build, simply because of time and all my tools are at my parents garage so i only work on it on weekends.

simple start thus far.

Looks like a good start. I went with a plate design, I think it goes with the vehicle better, hides the unibody more. But good start!

Here is the tube bumper I built for mine. I would like to do a few things differently but overall I'm pretty happy with it

I did one for a guy a few years back. Those unibodies are a pita to mount to. I wen't kinda overboard on the mounts, but they are still holding up and he beats the hell out of it.

work some more on it today.

and mocked up with a full stinger just because it was laying there. While it did not look terrible, it was HUGE and i have 0 need for it on a DD but did provide comic relief while tacked in place.

Thanks, hoping to start on a rear soon as the factory plastic cover is cracked pretty good.

I now have a set of dimple dies, so those will most likely come into play when building the rear bumper.
