XJ high lift mount

Has anyone mounted a hi-lift to the rear bumper?? I dont want it on the rook (no racks) and I think it would be cool on the bumper. Ohh and lockable for theft reasons.

06 Wrangler: Mounted mine across the top of my rear bumper. Drilled (4) 1/4" holes in the top of my bumper and secured it using two u-bolts. Then I drilled (4) 3/4" holes under the bumper so all I have to do is side a socket through the bottom holes and remove the nuts. The base plate is on the right side just past the edge of the bumper with the jack on its side the u-bolts fit through the jacks holes. My hi-lift jack is painted black so it does not stick out. It can be locked easliy.

On the XJ that is almost a useless location due to the hatch. I would work out something for inside the rear cargo area before going there.
