lets see... what did i do next???
tryin to get ya guys some more pictures.. lol

About this time when i formed these up it was almost spring break and i was planning on getting all the materials and parts i'd need for this so i was lookin for stuff to keep my busy in the shop.. SO..
here are the body mounts, these will weld to the frame and the rubber spacer will set on top of it..
i made them out of 12G plate..

Just a shout out to everyone that is supporting this build and not tearing every little thing that could of been done differently.. really appreciate the support..
with that being said, im not oppose to other ideas or suggestions.. but if you come in and say Chevrolet stuff sucks.. you suck.. dont wanna hear from ya lol that was the case on one of the other forums i have his build on..

Nope, you can subscribe to any thread that interests you so you don't have to keep checking for updates, you are automatically notified when they are updated. As for Naxja, I believe you cannot post in the advanced fab area unless you pay the fees, otherwise you can post it in the modified tech area, not sure but I remember something about it.

this is BY FAR an advanced fab project.. far more advanced than 80% of the crap i see on that thread to begin with..
who would pay money to belong to a forum??? i could careless, i just do it so i can show my friends the build when im away from it.. and its a good way to ask questions when i dont have the answers..

Damn, somebody has some anger issues....somebody(actually a lot of people do) pays for the forum to run, I guess you are far to advanced to bring your self down to that level

Just messing around, some people get a lot out of these forums and it is way worth the small amount of $$. Some people don't, no big deal to me personally

Paying money to be on a forum allows the forum to be there so you can get the answers you need when you don't have them...

i see... well learn somethin new everyday.. im just a redneck kid from central oregon, how much does it usually cost to buy into a forum that does that?? i haven't even seen the sign up sheet where it asks for your money..

as for the jeep...
got the motor mount built and mocked between the frame, just have some last bolts to tighten then i can start re-doing the cart

and no anger issues.. its kinda hard to understand my humor through the internet.. most everything i say is sarcastic

or meant towards making a joke... i think NAXJA and Pirate are great sites full of great information..

I think if you're really doing this because of being harassed from the Wrangler and CJ crowd about a frame, then I say who cares. I've had 3 XJ's and now have a Wrangler. Cherokee's are bad ***...

At least I can take the top and doors off my Jeep... Oops, what did I just do

BTW, a real Jeep has 4 doors? Bantam, GPW, Willy's were the original Jeeps, and they all had 2... Just some food for thought...

alot of people ask me why i didn't just do it with a V8 ZJ... i personally like the look of the XJs a lil more than ZJs and plus.. this XJ was free of charge =)

i know i know lol i've had that signature for a while now.. before the JK's but thats really what i was gettin at was the newer jeeps like YJs and TJs.. then a bunch of 2 door XJ guys jumped my case about only having 2 doors.. i dont know why i dont change it haha save people some frustrations..
i learned to drive in an old willy's.. what i'd do for another one would definitely not be legal haha..

and hey my doors come off too!!! not nearly as fast as yours do, but they certainly do come off lol.. i like runnin doorless in the summer time
