Before we go into labor cost, what would is cost metal wise just to build a basic bumper like the rear one you made?

That one was 60$ for the steel but I would make it different than that one.

Do you want the receiver inside the bumper like Matt's?

That one is $220 and you have to weld it up yourself. If rather spend $60-$80 on the metal and save the extra $$ bish.

If I keep the stock end caps I could simply use a rectangular piece of metal as the bumper, wouldnt have to make the end pieces. Il rather build a similar bumper to jcr's, then make some of these

I just need to get a rear recovery point figured out soon.

Their xj parts arent the cheapest but I hear they are quality. I like how you cut the end caps. I have removed my fender flares and door moldings, the end caps come next. Their mount is pop riveted on so Im going to drill them out and in the spring herculine the lower portion of the doors and the rear quarters. Those 1/4 guards look really easy to make though. Either start the hole with a large drill bit to get the counter sunk holes, then just measure, cut, and bend.
