WK front skid bib or apron

Not finding anything on a forum search so I am posting a query. I am thinking of doing some off roading with my 08 Grand Cherokee but have noticed there is no protection for the lower radiator. I would like to find what I would describe as an apron that would fasten to the bottom of the front bumper, go under the lower radiator support and then back where it would bolt on to the main front cross member. It would need some holes for air to come thru to the rad.

If anyone has done this or knows of where I could buy a prefabed unit it would speed the project along.

Sounds kind of like a kk. The kk does have a factory radiator skid available, but it sucks. Maybe post in the wk section to see what others have done. Here's my set up for my KK, but I have custom steel bumpers.

Tanks a lot!

Man, your rig is ready for the war! I was hoping to keep the stock bumper plastic and all with minor modification and hopefully make my protector out of aluminum to keep the weight down. I will be removing the plastic bumper cover soon to mount my factory recovery hooks so I will see what I am up against and maybe post some photos.

The radiator on these WKs hangs way low and is just a disaster waiting to happen. I don't intend to go that far off road but we got potholes around town that would take that thing out.

I have been looking at the 4x Guard protector. Only problem with it is that it still leaves about a 8" wide hole the length of the radiator for sticks, trail and road debris to poke holes in the radiator. I could possibly fabricate a bolt on extention that would plug this hole.
