Yeah, it likely is overkill for a Jeep.

Alloy 1018, still considered a mild steel from what I can tell.

So there's no moly in Nascar cages, but it's not just plain old DOM, either.

And yeah, that description of the 1018 being ground is what my buddy described, so I guess he's just using DOM as a generic term, and it's not the DOM we typically are talking about here.

I asked a ref if he could give me a technical foul for thinking bad things about him. He said, of course not. I said, well, I think you stink. And he gave me a technical. You can't trust em. -
