What size lift for 18" wheels and 35" tires?
Im about to do some work to my 2003 wrangler X, i know that im gunna put on 18" rockstars (i know its frowned upon but im doing it) and 35" nitto mud grapplers. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what size suspension lift i should get that would look appropriate (not to high but not to low)?

Yes
A 4.5 inch lift is pleanty. But make sure that you don't buy tires that are too wide. Otherwise they will rub on your wheel well.

Is there anyone other than rubicon express that sells 4.5" suspension lifts?

BDS does or use a 4" kit and put a 3/4" spacer in the front.

With 18" Rockstar wheels I'm not sure if you're offroading it or not but 5" of lift is optimal for offroading with 35" tires. RE's 4.5" lift is more like 5" to 5.5" in reality so that'd be a very good choice.

Is it too late to recommend you upgrade the ES-3000 shocks that come with all of ProComp's suspension lift kits? No matter what the sales kid at the counter tries to tell you or convince you of, those shocks are the stiffest/worst riding shocks of any available for the TJ. The first shocks I installed into my TJ 12 years ago were the ES-3000 shocks and I took them off and trashed them within a few months. They were that bad. He shouldn't have any major heartburn if you upgrade them to ProComp MX-6 shocks that have a knob on them so you can select from 6 stiffness settings where the first two are ok so far as stiffness goes. But for the same $$$ as the ES-3000 shocks, ask if he'll just swap them for Skyjacker Hydros (not Nitros!) which ride a LOT better than the ES-3000 for about the same cost. I assure you he'll lie and tell you the ES-3000 shocks ride "great" but if he says that, he's lying.... really.
