Waggy D44 axle truss?

Has anyone fabbed a front axle truss on a driver side drop wagoneer D44? I would like to see some pictures. I am failing to come up with a good plan on the driver side because their isn't a lot of room.

The blue torch is designed with with wider D44 in mind. There is no room to weld the driver side portion of the truss to the tubes because my spring perch is on the diff housing.

I'd cut off the shock mount, bend a piece of 1.75"x .188" wall DOM (that's what I used) into a "U", weld it down there and on the other side of the pumpkin (on the opposite side tube), and then cut/weld a 3/16" plate to "fill in" the area between the tube truss and the axle housing. Then, I'd do a few gussets off the assembly to keep it from bending fore/aft. Here's a few pics of my truss. It's on a D60 but the concept is the same..

and if I'm not mistaken, that BTF truss will fit with a perch still in place. If you're going to a link suspension just cut the perch out of the way. The BTF truss slides right up against the pumkin casting and welds to the tube. I installed one on my buddy's D60.. nice setup and very strong.

I was more thinking something like this but for my axle. I just need a creative idea for the driver side area. This is the TnT dana 30 version.
