using stock bumper

im getting ready to graduate and i want some diff. bumpers, im on the HS/college budget and wanted to see what people have done to there stock bumpers, to make them look like one of the expensive ones. Any pics would be awsome stingers,grill bars,winch mounts, anything. thanks guys

I don't have a picture at the moment but I used a metal grinder to cut the bumper about an inch out from the factory fog light mounts at the top. I then cut diagonally down to the bottom of the bumper right up next to the bumpstop. Looks pretty good and I'll post a pic when I find my camera.

Removed the milk jugs and plugged the holes with these http://www.quadratec.com/products/12106_02.htm so I don't bang into the rough edges.

I cut the brackets of the stock bumper and used them.

It's not finished yet, but I took 2x4x.120 square tubing, added a reciever, and blended it into the stock bumper mounts. Figured it would be easier to just trace the shape with the plasma cutter than drill and align new brackets.

The tube is capped with 3/16" thick plates, cut to fit the stock mounts. I'm thinking I'll just cap the ends and add some bent tube for a little corner protection.

I like I bumper I can easily stand on but doesn't hurt my departure angle.

im in the same spot as you schooling wise, this cost me 5 bucks for a can of krylon flat black and 2 bucks for a new sawzall blade.
trimmed the corners and painted the bumpers black.(front and back, looks good)
