tube fenders

this is where i am so far gonna do the down tubes and the fender flares soon hopefully before next weekend cant wait to finish this up

Wow forgot to update this not sure if i took any pics before i welded them to the jeep but i cut the sheet metal and started using poprivets to secure it to the tubes i think it looks pretty darn good will post pics when i get a chance

decided to use pop rivets

sheet metal off




still have somethings to do might smooth it out might not

I thought about doing the same thing but with square tube so the fenders would look like a CJ2 or 3 fenders.looks good.

Do you need to make a flare? Not sure how that's going to look with square tube. Could be real nice if you do it post on here and let me know how it ends up.

formed the sheet metal for the other side today still have to trim a little and clean it up but all in all im pleased

found some more pictures of when i was putting my flares together. welding on metal that is galvanized is quite the *****.

Look good. But why did you use galvanized? Is that electrical conduit from the hardware store or something? I almost cheaped out and did that when I made mine.

Also, I love the sig line!

used it cause it was cheap and strong not conduit though. its, i think, 1" tube and 3/16 wall thickness. im gonna have to look at your build thread for yours.

Yep, plenty of pics of the process in the build thread. Here's how it turned out.
