TJ Rear bumper/ Tire carrier build

Heres what I have come up with......



























Heres where it sits right now,,A few things to finish up and then its ready for paint.

It looks great. You could have 45'd the inside of D ring tabs or just rounded it up a bit since that portion ain't doin much but addin weight. Are ya going to put some kind cushin between the clasp and the stop so ya don't get any rattlin?

Very nice indeed.

The only thing I would have done a little different is the clasp mechanism. It doesn't look like that end is supporting much of the weight if any at all?

Bumper is done! Heres a few more progress shots til the end. I did not get any pictures of the final bracing and gusseting undernieth. Have trust that it is VERY Solid! As far as the arm and latch point. Im happy to report they are holding up very well. No rattle or sag what so ever! We will see how it holds up with a little more time and use. Im sure it will be fine tho.
