Ya'll were correct I had to file the seam. I think I checked the fit on a 1/8" wall peice of 2 1/2" I didnt think the 1/4 wall would be differant ID but I was wrong It really wasnt that big of an issue though I used my air pencil grinder and had it right in 5 minutes.

Got the receiver made today I had to grind the seam on the inside of the tube for the hitch to slide in but no big deal it was done in 5 minutes. I cut a 2 1/2" square on the bottom of the hitch all the way through so I could put the receiver all the way through and weld both sides. Allthough I am glad that I made my own receiver and enjoyed doing it I will probably by the northern tool receiver on the next one and save the time.

I got the brackets made and installed this morning. I for got to take pictures as I was working but I bolted the brackets on then put the bumper in place with jackstands and tacked it. Then I removed the bumper for final welding. I test fitted it then put a temporary coat of black spray bomb on it. I put back on so I can tow with it but I still have to make and isnstall clevises and cap the ends and I will linex it when I'm done.
