TJ flat fenders

I started building my flat fenders. I am using sheet metal called Galvanneal. I will cut the sides off the original fenders leaving the top and side wall just aft of the flare. These will weld to the remaining fender.

Cut parts


Radius pieces welded in. I used a shrinker to form the radius.


Bottom side

Looks cool. We wear welding masks at work when we are welding the galvanized stuff. They put off some nasty fumes

I agree, I use a fan to pull the fumes away. I also remove the coating where the weld will be,
