TJ custom bumper mounting ideas?

I am currently building a rear bumper and tire carrier for my TJ. A 37” tire and a small 20”x36” gear rack will be mounted on the swing out portion of the bumper. I had a little mounting system built up that was based off of some of the other popular rear bumpers. On either side of the bumper I took a piece of 1”x5” steel and made a couple of pads that are to be welded to the bumper. I bored two holes in both of the pads that will be tapped for a ˝” stud that will run thru the stock mounting holes in the frame.
Then I was going to build some bracing that bolted to the stock frame to strengthen it up a little bit. I found a picture of the same basic design I was going to build. Mine would look a little different but it would be the same concept.

I would like to mount it different but the ideas aren’t coming to me very fast. I would like to have a little bit more than 4 half inch studs holding her on. I’m more worried about the weight of the spare and the gear rack with 100 lbs of junk on it than I am about the bumper holding up to recoveries. The recovery aspect still doesn’t sit well with me.

If anyone has any good ideas (pictures would be nice), please let me know!
