thinking about redoing headliner

im thinking of redoing the headliner due to the fact that its been on its last leg for a while now, its almost completely unglued and while loading fencing up the other day i ripped the material in two places so now im pulling the trigger on the project.

i was wondering if anyone here has experience in restoring headliners that could offer any tips/ recommendations. what im mainly wondering is a good solid glue that wont come undone as quickly as others etc.

my list so far is
fabric 4-5 yards (for the headliner, sunvisors, and rear speaker bar)
thin foam to raise the headliner in certain areas to create depth
spay adhesive (securing the fabric to design and headliner)
hot glue sticks (for gluing down the folded edge of the fabric)

ideas and tips?
