shop seat

Anyone ever turn their rear seat (wrangler) into a shop seat or bench. Thinking more work bench height, maybe on casters rather than mini-couch

I haven't turned a TJ seat into a bench, but I have turned a Ford Passenger Van bench into one. I bought 3 seats at a military property sale two years ago ($5 total) and on one, I just used some scrap wood to make a riser...another I had to toss thanks to a large colony of ants that thought the cushions were home. The last, I welded on some legs onto the frame to give it about a 3 inch lift. This one folded flat, so we bolted some swing out legs onto the back to make a mini bed.

Garage
Made a 2x4 frame on casters for a CJ7 rear seat. About standard chair height. Just something to sit on in the garage.
