Kinda hard to see in this pic, but here is some TIG I did on Dad's river sled. We put a new front bow cover on it out of diamond plate. The sides and front is all TIG welded into place.

Did some today as well.

1/16" E71T1 uphill.

Same wire, 3 pass 1/2" weld.

These are dozer rake hangers. The top is 2" thick. 6 passes of 1/16" E70 hard wire.

Did some work on the new tire carrier design today and thought these welds looked half decent.
Most the products I do the welds get smoothed but I think this product will have them not smoothed out, just knock the high spots off.

Yeah. Right now I am running Argon, CO2, 2% O2. Because the welding shop didn't have plain Argon, CO2 when I needed a bottle. This was with my little 220V Lincoln 180HD I got from home depot. I want to pick up a 300A Tig like no tomorrow so I can weld heavier stuff with no fear.

We have to use some thick wall tube on some of our couplers. Since the size is not available in wall thickness and outside dimension, we make our own out of angle and weld the corners.

The material is 6"x6"x3/4" angle.

Here are some mig welds from a payoff base that I'm fabricating...

...just tacked together...

...the outer skins are 1/4" thick, the rectangular tube is 5" x 3" x 1/4" wall, and the square plates with the holes in them are 1" thick...

The customer will sand down all the outside corner welds of the base, so that it has the appearance of a cast piece, after it is painted.
