need help with a logo.... anyone?
i'm about to start a little fab shop at my house and im in the need of a logo for it.name: HH Customs im wantin the logo to be unique but also somewhat simple.. this design would go on shirts and stickers so nothin too intricate. i was plannin on it bein a logo that had HH for it. i just want it to be awesome too. if i end up usin your idea... i would send you a free shirt and sticker. so, anyone have some ideas for me? also, before people start askin... this will be started out of my shop and i haven't got the shipping part down yet. it might end up bein a "in GA thing" only for the time bein. until i can get some decent shipping ideas. thanks for any help guys! ![]()

I used these guys.
http://thelogocompany.net/ It cost $150, but they will do unlimited revisions of the logs until you like it. You give them a basic idea and they go from there. My sister and a friend used them for their companies. At first they have wildly different logos, but as you tell them what you like the changes become more subtle until you are happy. It was about a 1-2 day turn around on revisions and everything is done over email. Here are a couple they did for my friends and me. ![]() ![]() |

hey man this is just a quick job of what i kind of had visualized but i couldnt make it exactly how i was picturing it cause im not to computer savvy anyways what i was thinking is that the strips of the "H's" would be strips of metal and the black spots would be tac welds. dont know if you can really picture it but i can see it in my head and i think it would loook pretty sweet. also the text could be changed around to your liking i just saw that and thought it looked decent
so anyways heres the pic ![]()

I can't draw and don't have any type of software to help me, so try to see if this makes since,,,,, say you're looking under your Jeep from the front to the rear at an angle, you'd see the axles in the middle and the tires on either side would make an overlapping set of H's. That's my thought, so there you are.

Some things to consider....
A logo with multiple colors is considerably more expensive to reproduce or screen print. A deal breaker? Only you can decide. A complicated logo does not scale down well. If you start thinking about letterheads and maybe even small logo placement on your products, simple and single color logos work well. Avoid small fonts. Again, when reduced in size, they become very difficult to read. As a logo designer, I have to start SOMEWHERE, so I typically throw out an idea like the one above, and wait for response. Even if the customer HATES it, it gives me a direction. This usually works better than simply asking the customer "What do you want it to look like?" Nine times out of ten, if they knew that much they would do it themselves. The images I made above will convert nicely to decals because they are single color, and the white can be whatever color you stick it on. It "matches" anything, so no need to stock different colors.

Just a thing to consider,i am doing the same, looking for a local decent sized shop for fabrication for 4x4's and custom vehicles and restoring/custom vehicles, which i already do but tired of having the mess at my house..lol
When considering you'r logo,i wouldn't limit it to a 4x4 thing, because of your fab capabilities you will most likely end up doing all sorts of fabrication work to help bring income in. Having just a 4x4 logo might detour possible money making work because they think you are only involved in 4x4's Just something to ponder.... |
