Thanks man. I appreciate compliments whenever I can get them!

I thought those Poker Nite signs would be flying out the door . I think they will be good sellers in the long run as they have only been on my site a few days and I have 11 "watchers". Someone sells the same thing, actually a tad smaller IIRC (and not powder coated) for $49.99 I think on EBay.

I just try to offer a nice product with the "competitive edge" (i.e. powder coated vs. painted finish) for a good price. I'm not looking to gouge anyone.

OK guys..... Just ordered some more AR500 3/8". I'm going to make a bunch of targets this weekend with my new Hypertherm Powermax 65 plasma cutter. It should get here Friday!!

I will be making a bunch of gong targets at a really affordable price. They will all be on my EBay store. Stay tuned....

As mentioned in the above post, my 2 sheets of AR500 have arrived. All my targets are 3/8" thick. Once I finish this batch I will post up a pick of the array on the table. Pretty cool.

Well, my new Hypertherm Powermax 65 has arrived! Bought it from Harris Welding Supplies (google them). The price was excellent, great communication, and they even threw in some extras. I got 2 Lincoln Electric hats, 1 pair of Hypertherm cutting gloves, and 2 pairs of shade 5 (I think) glasses.

Man I'm excited to get this thing going. In fact, I'm so excited that I forgot to buy a new pigtail Off to Home Depot in a short bit I guess.

Anyway, some pre-installation plasma porn.....

POWERMAX 65

Machine torch, hand torch, ground clamp, consumables and CNC interface cable

"Freebies" from Harris Welding Supply. Thanks Harris!!

I'm jealous. I love my 1250 but if it ever burns up.. I'm gonna get me a PM85!!

You're gonna love this thing on the plasma table. Even my "old" 1250 blows my mind. I cut 50 rear bumper mounts out of 1/2" plate yesterday.. without stopping. That was over 2hrs of cutting at 60amps.

Ready.....GULP..... Machine was $2795 plus consumables, CNC interface, etc. and I'm over 3K. However, if you ever talk to my wife it was only $1200

Came with a machine torch and a hand torch. I thought the CNC interface cable was in the box, but according to the sales receipt in the box it was "backordered" . Pretty pissed about that. I'm going to call elsewhere tomorrow to see about getting the cable and then cancelling the backordered cable from Harris.

Welp, my CNC interface cable came in today. What's nice about the hypertherm is that (if I'm reading this correctly) you do not have to open the machine up to hook up the raw arc voltage. The CNC interface plugs right in to the back of the machine via a cannon plug and then gets terminated on to my torch height control unit. My old TD unit I had to open up the power supply and connect some 16g wires on to terminals, which was not a huge ordeal, but this is a much better design by far. Can't wait to get cutting on this thing. Hoping for Friday or Saturday...depending on time.

I picked up my rear bumper / tire carrier combo from jatepper on thursday. He's a great guy and did one h*ll of a job on this bumper. It was much better than I anticipated. I had no issues installing it other than snapping a tap while trying to clean out the the bolt holes on the bottom of the frame. These were (of course) horribly corroded and put up a good fight. I welded on the frame tie-ins and its extremely secure. I towed my little off-road camping trailer a bit with it and had no issues at all. All in all, it is extremely well built and much beefier than anything you could buy online for a much higher price. I cant say enough about it, to be honest. Anyways, heres the pics:

Jatepper, hope to see you at the chili challenge! Let me know if you do manage to make it.

Thanks, im really liking the trailer too. I got it from a good friend of mine, and its a great jeep trailer. Same track width and bolt pattern as the jeep and such. It only weighs about 400lbs empty and maybe 800 with ALL of our camping gear. I dont think it would be too hard to make. The tractor supply here carries all the parts youd need (axles and such).
